Terms of Use

Updated: 26 October 2026

These terms govern the use of AutoQuran. By using the application, you agree to follow these terms. If you disagree, stop using the relevant service.

Purpose of the service

AutoQuran offers Quran reading, translations, audio, mushaf views, search, bookmarks and learning tools. It is a learning aid and does not replace talaqqi, a Quran teacher or an approved mushaf. Features depend on configuration, account access and source services.

Accounts and security

Provide accurate account details and use an email address you control. Keep your password secure and report misuse. Do not access other people's accounts, share reset links or bypass access controls. Reset links expire, and users must sign in again after changing their password.

Text, sources and copyright

Digital text, translations, audio, fonts and third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders. Access through AutoQuran does not transfer those rights. Arabic text obtained through Quran Foundation is displayed unchanged. Review credits, licences and source terms before copying or reusing material.

Do not offer API data, fonts or recordings as a dataset, API service or separate download without the necessary rights. Quran Foundation Content APIs and fonts are subject to the provider's terms. AutoQuran is independent and does not claim that Quran Foundation endorses or certifies the entire application.

Content and acceptable use

Upload only recordings and materials you own or are authorised to use, including permission from people recorded. Do not upload unlawful, hateful, defamatory, sexual or religiously abusive material. Do not attack servers, extract data excessively or distribute malicious software. Administrators may restrict content or accounts that breach these terms and review reports received.

Availability and corrections

The application and external sources may be interrupted or change. Display depends on browsers, fonts and connectivity. Tajweed colouring uses Quran Foundation annotations or fonts; rule explanations are learning aids and do not replace a teacher. Report text or display problems with chapter, verse and page references for review. An official source does not guarantee that every part of the application is error-free.

Privacy and contact

Data handling is explained in the Privacy Policy. Contact the administrator about accounts, content, copyright or privacy. You may stop using the application and request deletion of account data through the provided contact channel.

Changes to these terms

The current terms are published here with their update date. Nothing here excludes consumer rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Quran text references and national laws

Users agree and acknowledge that, in countries with laws or regulations governing Quranic text, Quran verses displayed in AutoQuran must not be treated as an officially valid or authoritative reference in place of a certified copy. Users must refer to an authentic Quran copy recognised by the government or relevant authority in that country.

Using AutoQuran does not replace the user’s obligation to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

References, data sources & technical checks

Copyright in digital text editions, translations, audio, fonts and source materials belongs to the respective rights holders, subject to the applicable licences. AutoQuran does not claim ownership of third-party source materials.

Technical checks — 22 October 2026: Checks cover checksum matching for 604 fonts and layout files, page mapping, interface language switching, search, bookmarks, registration and session protection. Font and layout files were preserved when the apps were separated from eMukmin.

These technical checks are not authoritative certification of every verse, translation or tajwid rule. Production database text has not been audited verse by verse in this review. Consult an approved mushaf and a Quran teacher to verify recitation.
